Abner Snell's (Bill Kennedy) voice becomes a strange, haunting falsetto when he has an attack of laryngitis, so he secretly becomes radio's "Mystery Lady." Rather than admit to his girlfriend the real source of his extra income, he tells her he has robbed a bank--not knowing that the local bank HAS just been robbed!
