Synopsis

On the verge of financial ruin, Dane Clark blackmails a lifelong friend (Paul Carpenter) into agreeing to commit a murder for him. The man Clark wants dead: Clark! He's nobly made arrangement for his wife to benefit from his fat life insurance policy, but complications follow. A good entry in film noir's "man hires his own murderer" subgenre.
