To capture a gold bullion thief, deputy Don Barry poses as a gambler and works with the one clue he has: the crook has on his arm the tattoo of a snake. The twisting trail leads to casino owner Tom Neal (of Detour fame) and his henchmen, and climaxes in a chase on horseback and on foot through rugged territory.
