A cowboy named Utah (Russell Hayden) arrives in the Canadian woods looking to reunite with his old friend Bill, co-owner of their ranch--but instead of the mysteriously missing Bill, Utah finds only an air of mystery, close-mouthed trappers, hair-trigger tempers, and a four-flushing dealer in stolen pelts named "Nails" Nathan (Douglas Fowley).
